LSS was chosen by the Parliamentary Review as a driver of change through best and innovative practice for lymphoedema service provision. The release of the 2019 edition of The Parliamentary Review Journal was marked by a gala in the Palace of Westminster on 27th March. Jane contributed to the Commissioning Guidance for lymphoedema Services for Adults in the UK. Produced by the National Lymphoedema Partnership, the document was launched at a parliamentary reception at Westminster on 5th March 2019. Its purpose is to educate, inform and support the commissioning of lymphoedema services in the UK.
Jane was a co-author of the British Lymphology Society: National Lymphoedema Tariff Guide (2019). In conjunction with the `Cost Calculator (BLS 2019), the documents provide practical assistance in the establishment of lymphoedema services and further guidance for commissioners surrounding staff and on costs.
In June 2014 Jane and Julia were shortlisted to exhibit a poster at the ILF Conference. The poster, entitled ‘The comprehensive treatment of a grossly oedematous foot and the impact of outcomes for the patient’, described the complex treatment of a 50 year old gentleman confined to a wheelchair with a grossly oedematous foot.
